HAVING ROOTS AND GROWING UP PAINTING TRADITIONAL GRAFFITI
THIS SECTION SHOWCASES SOME OF THE OLDER
"ABOVE" LETTER STYLES FROM THEM GOOD OLD DAYS.

I CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO TAKE SOME PHOTOS OF THIS PIECE.
I WAS SURPRISED WHEN I SAW A MODEL ALREADY POSING FOR A FASHION SHOOT IN FRONT OF IT!
THE MODEL LOVED THE ATTENTION AND I WAS ABLE TO TAKE A FEW PHOTOS OF MY OWN.

ICELAND'S LOCATION,ACCESSIBILITY AND WEATHER ALL HAVE HUGE EFFECTS
ON THE PEOPLE. ICELANDERS GO CRAZY MAD DURING THE COLD/DARK WINTER
AND MAD CRAZY WITH THE 23 HOURS OF SUNLIGHT DURING THE SUMMER.
THE 3 WEEKS I STAYED THERE IT WAS A WILD/RIDE TO SAY THE LEAST!

THE DIRECTIONAL "ARROWS" IN THE ROAD TOOK A DETOUR UP AND OFF THE WALL!
IT FLIPPED THE SCRIPT AND DID AN ILLEGAL U-TURN TO THIS PIECE.

A Dyslexic is able to find Amor in Roma without much effort!
Many people associate Roma with being Romantic. I personally
associate Roma with sore abdominal muscles due to leaning over
and hanging upside down while painting backwards from a rooftop all night.

...SOMETIMES I GET CONCERNED WITH MY JUDGMENT CALLS!!!
Stripping down to my shorts I swam out to take this photo.
One hand was paddling like a speedboat keeping me from drowning,
while the other hand was holding my camera dry above the water level.

You know when you're in a different country and your words just
don't seem to match up and translate into the other language?
This letter style with The Greek Flag is a perfect example of being lost in translation.

Perspectives can be confusing at times. This Cyrillic letter style piece
starts on an elevated level, then dips down and over 5 stairs,
goes under an arch and ends in the side room. It was a challenge
to paint with such uneven footing. Yellow drips for effects.

Timing is everything! I was leaving for Amsterdam the next day and had no other time
to hit this rooftop other than later that night, which was suppose to be windy and rainy.
Hanging upside down painting in a rainstorm is fun until the roller your painting
with falls off and slides down to the street below. The Brussels
Police Headquarters is literally across the street but no one seemed to notice.

In Serbia their alphabet is called Cyrillic. Cyrillic has a lot of edges and angles.
Unfortunately these letters I made up and have nothing to do with the Cyrillic alphabet. Go Figure?
